Jannat Mirza, Pakistan’s most popular TikToker with over 10 million followers, made her film debut in Syed Noor’s Teray Bajray Di Rakhi, though it did not perform well at the box office. In addition to her social media success, she is now pursuing a modeling career in Japan, having signed with an agency there.
Jannat Mirza Says TikTok Is Better Than Cinemas
During an appearance on Girls Only, Jannat Mirza shared her preference for TikTok over cinemas. She explained that the younger generation is more inclined to stay at home and scroll through TikTok rather than spend money on expensive cinema tickets. For her, TikTok is always the better choice.
Mirza also reflected on her early days on TikTok, admitting that she used to create “cringe” videos, as that was the trend at the time. Though she still has those videos, she confessed that she cannot bear to watch them now.
