On October 9, nearly two months after its theatrical release, Netflix announced the movie’s digital premiere by sharing a motion poster featuring the star cast on their Instagram page. The poster showcases Akshay Kumar, Taapsee Pannu, Fardeen Khan, Vaani Kapoor, Aditya Seal, Ammy Virk, and Pragya Jaiswal smiling before it transitions to an image of them with fingers on their lips.
The post’s caption revealed the release date, stating, “1 Message received: Khel shuru hone wala hai (The game is about to start). Khel Khel Mein arrives on 10 October, on Netflix.”
Fans who had been eagerly awaiting the OTT release expressed their excitement in the comments, with one saying, “Finally, the wait is over,” while another added, “Wooow amazing.” Many others shared their enthusiasm with fire and heart emojis.
Directed by Mudassar Aziz, Khel Khel Mein follows a group of friends who, one night, decide to play a game where all their phone content is shared with the group. As secrets unravel, chaos and humor ensue, promising plenty of laughs and drama.
