Actress Mariyam Nafees announced her pregnancy on Instagram, sharing a series of pictures with her husband, Aman Ahmed, holding a pair of baby shoes.
She captioned the post: “Oh, baby! We’re having a baby!!! Baby Am Yam coming soon, InshAllah! Blessed | MashAllah | Alhamdulillah, Tiny little toes loading.”
Mariyam also posted an ultrasound image of her positive pregnancy test, displayed on a smartphone screen, and asked her followers to keep the couple in their prayers.
Earlier this month, Mariyam responded angrily to a fan’s comment after she shared photos with her husband. The fan remarked, “Itne sal ho gy or kitna pyair karna koi baby b pada kar lu ab.” In response, the actress replied: “Kyu app professional babysitter hain? Naukri chahye? When will we learn to not be personal? By ‘we’ I mean Pakistani awaam.”
Mariyam recently celebrated her second wedding anniversary with her husband, Amaan Ahmed. The couple married in a small Nikkah ceremony on March 25, 2022.
In a previous chat show appearance, the couple revealed they met on an ad shoot set, quickly becoming close friends before entering a relationship.
