In response to the controversy, Baap director Nadeem Cheema addressed the situation, revealing that Moammar Rana’s family—his wife Mehnaaz and daughters—have chosen to remain silent. He shared that they are deeply upset by the incident. According to Cheema, Moammar has isolated himself in his room and is not answering any calls. He reiterated that Moammar was unwell, not drunk, and mentioned having seen him in a similar condition on set due to health issues.
