Rajab Butt unveils captivating vlog on wildlife conservation

Popular TikToker Rajab Butt has shared his first wildlife awareness vlog on social media as part of a court-mandated ruling.

A local court in Lahore had sentenced Rajab Butt to create and upload a wildlife awareness vlog every month for a year after he was found guilty of keeping a tiger cub without a license. Following the ruling, he recently released his first video.

His latest 36-minute vlog, primarily focused on another topic, begins with a two-minute segment dedicated to wildlife awareness. In this segment, Rajab praised the Punjab Wildlife Department and emphasized the importance of responsible animal care.

In his message, Rajab stated that while wild animals can reciprocate love, keeping them as pets poses risks to both humans and the animals themselves. He urged the public to follow government regulations regarding the possession of wild animals to ensure their safety.

Rajab Butt had received the tiger cub as a wedding gift from a friend, but after a viral video featuring the cub surfaced, he was arrested for possessing it without a license.

Earlier, the Punjab Wildlife Department had considered taking legal action against Rajab Butt for failing to comply with the court order. As per the ruling, he was required to upload an awareness video in the first week of every month, beginning in February, to educate the public on wildlife conservation. However, he had not shared any such content within the given timeframe.

Punjab Wildlife Lahore Region Deputy Director Mian Asim Kamran confirmed that Rajab Butt’s delay in complying with the court’s decision was a clear violation. The department intends to inform the court and request further action against him.
