Veteran Filmmaker Rakesh Roshan Reveals Exciting Update on ‘Krrish 4’ Featuring Hrithik Roshan
Rakesh Roshan, the iconic filmmaker behind the hit Krrish franchise, has shared an exciting update on the much-anticipated Krrish 4, starring his son Hrithik Roshan.
In a recent interview, Roshan confirmed that an official announcement for Krrish 4 is coming soon. However, he clarified that he would not be directing the film this time around but would produce it under his banner, Filmkraft Productions.
While the director for the film was not disclosed, there has been growing speculation that Siddharth Anand, known for directing Hrithik in Bang Bang, War, and Fighter, could take the helm. Earlier this year, Anand teased Krrish 4 by sharing a fan’s image of Hrithik in his Krrish costume with the caption “He’s coming back,” prompting fans to believe Anand might replace Rakesh Roshan as director.
The Krrish superhero saga began in 2003 with Koi Mil Gaya, which featured Hrithik Roshan alongside Preity Zinta. The film’s success led to sequels, including Krrish (2006) and Krrish 3 (2013), with Hrithik reprising his role as Krishna, aka Krrish. Priyanka Chopra played the female lead in the second and third films, while the franchise also featured renowned actors like Rekha, Naseeruddin Shah, and Vivek Oberoi in pivotal roles.
