Yasir Nawaz Reflects on Being Rejected by Father-in-Law Kazim Pasha

Yasir Nawaz is a well-known Pakistani TV personality, celebrated for his acting, directing, and filmmaking skills. With standout roles in shows like Dil Moum Ka Dia, Dil Zar Zar, Paheli Hai Zindagi, Wo Kon Hai, Baaghi, Bikhray Moti, Mera Dil Mera Dushman, and Bewafai Tumhare Naam, Yasir has earned widespread recognition. He’s also directed popular dramas such as Ghair, Dil Dia Dehleez, Shak, Saat Pardon Mein, Khudgharz, and Thori Si Wafa Chahiye. In a recent episode of his YouTube show Nadan Mezban, Yasir shared a personal experience about being rejected by his father-in-law, Kazim Pasha, during his early auditions.

Speaking about the rejection, Yasir revealed, “When I was starting my career, I faced rejections from three directors: Tahir Sir, Kazim Pasha, and Haider Imam. Now, I realize that it was because of my own mistakes, as I was nervous and had palpitations during auditions.” His brother, Danish Nawaz, jokingly mentioned that he got his revenge on Kazim Pasha by marrying Nida Yasir. Nida herself humorously noted that Yasir often brings up the story of her father’s rejection.
