Punjab has reported 126 dengue cases in the past 24 hours, as the threat of the virus persists in the province.
According to details released on Saturday, Rawalpindi has recorded the highest number of cases, totaling 109. Both Lahore and Rawalpindi reported three cases each, while two cases were noted in Khanewal. Additionally, Attock, Mianwali, Jhelum, Sheikhupura, Kasur, and DG Khan each reported one dengue case.
This year, the province has recorded a total of 4,120 dengue cases.
Meanwhile, a spokesperson for the Punjab health department stated, “All necessary measures have been implemented to combat dengue in the province.” They also confirmed that all public hospitals are stocked with the required medications.
