In an interview on ARY’s program Khabar, Maryam Riaz Wattoo revealed that Bushra Bibi’s phone was switched off, and even the contacts of those accompanying her were unreachable. She mentioned that she managed to connect with Bushra Bibi earlier through her sources.
Maryam stated that no one informed her about Bushra Bibi’s exact location. After their conversation, Bushra Bibi was reportedly moved to a new location.
Maryam further disclosed that Bushra Bibi had not been in touch with her family and was unaware of her whereabouts. It was later revealed that she was transferred to an undisclosed location in Khyber Pakhtunkhwa.
According to Maryam, Bushra Bibi was initially unwilling to leave D-Chowk but was compelled to do so due to firing in the area. She explained that she had been trying to contact her sister for a long time and was appealing to others to facilitate communication. When she finally reached her, Bushra Bibi expressed her wish to remain at the protest.
