Mustafa Murder Case: Body Exhumed, Family to Receive Remains After DNA Test

KARACHI: In a major breakthrough in the investigation, the buried body, believed to be that of slain BBA student Mustafa Amir, has been exhumed from Keamari graveyard.

During the exhumation, samples were collected from the remains for further forensic analysis.

The 23-year-old student had gone missing on January 6, 2025. On January 12, police handed over a charred, unidentified body—found in a car near the Hub checkpost—to the Edhi Foundation. The remains, presumed to be those of the victim, were later buried by the rescue service at Keamari graveyard on January 16.
