PIA flight mistakenly lands on an incorrect runway due to heavy fog.

LAHORE:
A Pakistan International Airlines (PIA) flight narrowly escaped disaster after the pilot allegedly landed on the wrong runway at Lahore Airport amid challenging weather conditions.

Flight PK-150, which was initially flying from Dammam to Multan, was rerouted to Lahore due to heavy fog and low visibility in Multan.

Upon reaching Lahore, the aircraft was reportedly landed on runway 36L instead of the designated main runway.

Sources indicate that the runway lights were turned off during the landing, which increased the danger of the situation.

The PIA management has responded promptly, grounding both the captain and first officer involved.
