PM Shehbaz leaves for UAE to participate in the World Governments Summit.

Prime Minister Shehbaz Sharif has embarked on a two-day official visit to the United Arab Emirates (UAE) to attend the World Governments Summit (WGS) in Dubai.

Invited by UAE Vice President and Prime Minister Sheikh Mohammed bin Rashid Al Maktoum, PM Shehbaz will join global leaders, policymakers, and private sector representatives to discuss governance, innovation, and international cooperation, according to Pakistan’s Foreign Office.

Accompanied by a high-level delegation, including Deputy Prime Minister and Foreign Minister Ishaq Dar, as well as key cabinet members, the visit underscores Pakistan’s commitment to strengthening ties with the UAE and engaging with global partners.

During the summit, the prime minister is set to deliver a keynote address highlighting Pakistan’s vision for inclusive economic growth, digital transformation, and governance reforms.

He will also hold bilateral meetings with UAE leadership and engage with heads of state and multinational CEOs attending the event.

The Foreign Office emphasized that Pakistan and the UAE share a longstanding relationship based on mutual trust and cooperation, with the UAE being a key economic and strategic partner.

This visit comes as Pakistan aims to enhance economic collaboration and attract foreign investment.
