KARACHI – Two individuals were shot and killed in separate incidents, as reported on Monday night.
In the first incident near Karachi’s Met Office, two motorcyclists stopped a car and shot the driver after a brief altercation. The victim, identified as Farhan, was in his car when he was attacked. A video of the incident, showing the assailants fighting with the driver before fatally shooting him, has gone viral.
The police have registered a case based on the complaint of the deceased’s brother, who was present in the car at the time of the incident. Investigations are ongoing.
In another incident in Bahawalnagar, Muhammad Waqas was shot dead by two individuals on a motorcycle. Waqas, who was on his way at the time, was killed by the assailants, who fled the scene. Police are investigating the case.
WOMAN FOUND DEAD
The decomposed body of a woman was discovered in her rented house, with a rope around her neck. Neighbors alerted the police after noticing a foul odor emanating from the house, prompting authorities to recover the body.
According to local residents, the woman had recently moved to the area, and her husband had been missing for several days. The police have begun an investigation and registered a case.
