Security forces kill 19 terrorists, three soldiers martyred in Khyber Pakhtunkhwa operations: ISPR
In a series of intelligence-based operations across Khyber Pakhtunkhwa, security forces killed 19 terrorists, while three soldiers made the ultimate sacrifice during intense firefights, the military’s media wing, ISPR, reported on Tuesday.
The operations, aimed at dismantling the militant network Fitna-ul-Khawarij, were carried out in Peshawar, Mohmand, and Karak districts.
The first operation in Peshawar’s Matni area led to the elimination of eight terrorists following accurate intelligence.
The second operation, in Mohmand’s Baizai area, resulted in eight more militants neutralized after an exchange of gunfire. The third operation in Karak killed three terrorists.
During the operations, three soldiers were martyred: Lance Havaldar Abbas Ali, Naik Muhammad Nazir, and Naik Muhammad Usman.
“These courageous soldiers gave their lives in defense of the nation and strengthen our commitment to eradicate terrorism,” ISPR said.
Clearance operations are underway in the affected areas to neutralize any remaining threats. The military reaffirmed its resolve to eliminate terrorism, with the sacrifices of the soldiers serving as a testament to this unwavering determination.
