On Monday, an Accountability Court deferred its decision in the £190 million reference involving PTI founder Imran Khan and his wife Bushra Bibi, as reported by ARY News.
Originally scheduled for December 23, the verdict has now been postponed. AC Judge Nasir Javed Rana explained that the verdict is still being written, and the court will announce the new date for its delivery later.
On December 18, the court had reserved its verdict after both the prosecution and defense teams completed their arguments. The hearing, presided over by Judge Rana, took place at Adiala Jail.

The National Accountability Bureau (NAB) initiated an investigation into Imran Khan, his wife, and others over the alleged illegal acquisition of hundreds of acres of land in the name of Al-Qadir University Trust, which reportedly resulted in a £190 million loss to the national exchequer.
The charges accuse the former prime minister and other individuals of misappropriating Rs50 billion (equivalent to £190 million at the time) sent by the UK’s National Crime Agency (NCA) to the Pakistani government.
In response, NAB filed a corruption reference against Imran Khan and seven others, including his wife, in connection with the Al-Qadir University. The PTI leader had established the Trust for the Al-Qadir University Project on December 26, 2019.
