Reports indicate that the police initially sought a 7-day remand for Azam Swati, but the court approved a 5-day remand instead.
The court, after hearing arguments from both sides, has set the next hearing for November 20.

Earlier this month, PTI leader Azam Swati was detained by Taxila police after being released from Attock Jail. He faces charges related to PTI’s alleged ‘violent’ protest.
The Taxila police arrested Swati under the Anti-Terrorism Act, 1997, implicating him along with PTI founder Imran Khan and Islamabad President Aamir Masood Mughal Khan.
