ISLAMABAD: PTI Chairman Barrister Gohar Ali dismissed claims of any deal and clarified that upcoming discussions will focus on two main points.
Speaking to the media at the judicial complex, the PTI leader stated that the talks aim to improve the country’s political system.
“We are not striking any deal. If we were, we wouldn’t hide it,” Gohar said. He added that Ali Amin Gandapur has been meeting with the Army Chief to discuss law and order, emphasizing the necessity of maintaining working relations.
Addressing reports about the 190 million Pounds case, Gohar mentioned that PTI’s founder was informed to appear in court at 9:00 AM but noted that trials typically don’t begin before 11:00 AM. “He told them he would appear once his lawyers arrived at the court,” Gohar explained.
Gohar underscored the party’s commitment to ensuring the success of talks for the benefit of the country. He also confirmed that the next session of discussions is scheduled for January 16.
