Daska Tragedy: Pregnant Woman Murdered by In-Laws in Jealous Rage – Chilling Details Uncovered
The Daska police have made significant headway in uncovering the harrowing details of a pregnant woman’s brutal murder, revealing shocking motives behind the crime.
Zara, the victim, was allegedly killed by her mother-in-law, sister-in-law, and other family members, who dismembered her body and disposed of it in multiple locations. The gruesome act is believed to have been driven by deep jealousy and animosity.
According to DSP Abid Rasheed, the victim’s mother-in-law, Sughran, along with her daughter and grandson, orchestrated the murder. The motive behind the crime, he revealed, stemmed from resentment towards Zara following her marriage and the affection she shared with her husband.
Qadeer Ahmed, Zara’s husband, is the only brother among five sisters. His mother, Sughran, grew increasingly bitter over what she perceived as neglect by her son towards his family after his marriage. Unable to bear his love for his wife, Sughran allegedly conspired with her daughter and grandson to kill Zara.
On the night of the murder, Sughran reportedly suffocated Zara with a pillow while her daughter and grandson held her down. Zara, who was seven months pregnant, died from asphyxiation, tragically taking both her life and that of her unborn child.
DSP Rasheed confirmed that DNA samples and fingerprints were collected from the dismembered body parts and the murder weapons— a pillow and a butcher’s knife— and sent to Lahore for forensic analysis.
Sughran and her daughter, Yasmin, have been arrested and sent to jail on judicial remand, facing serious charges. Her grandson, Abdullah, is also in custody. Additionally, Naveed, a relative of Sughran, was arrested for allegedly aiding the crime by facilitating the transport of funds from Lahore to Daska, which were used to summon him.
The police are continuing their investigation and are determined to build a strong case against the perpetrators. DSP Rasheed stressed that the tragic act was rooted in jealousy and hatred, with the family believing Zara was somehow casting a spell on their son, leading to the fatal act.
“We are committed to ensuring justice is served and bringing the responsible individuals to account for their actions,” said Rasheed, with authorities vowing swift legal proceedings.
