During an appearance on ARY News, Vawda stated on Friday, “A provincial governor is about to face serious trouble, and his time is up.”
Without naming the governor, Vawda accused him of exploiting his position for personal gain, lying, and tarnishing his reputation. “Now, his turn has come, and he must go home soon,” he remarked.
Vawda predicted the governor’s removal would happen within the next week or two but assured it was certain.
He also criticized the PPP-led Sindh government, claiming that aside from Chief Minister Murad Ali Shah, none of the cabinet members are capable of writing a paragraph in English. “Only God can save the country when its future is in the hands of such individuals,” he added.
Vawda also commented on the murder of journalist Arshad Sharif, suggesting that the truth of the case would soon come to light. He also noted that PTI founder Imran Khan is now becoming aware of his allies and adversaries, stating, “Imran Khan’s eyes are finally opening.”
Earlier, Senator Vawda had claimed that former ISI Director General Lieutenant General (retd) Faiz Hameed had provided crucial evidence, including devices, against Imran Khan. Vawda mentioned that these revelations would only increase the challenges for Khan and his associates.
He added that Faiz Hameed’s trial had deflated PTI’s calls for civil disobedience, noting that “If Faiz Hameed’s trial had not occurred, Imran Khan, his wife, and associates wouldn’t have faced these problems.”
