ISLAMABAD (Web Desk) – The Foreign Office has raised concerns regarding India’s involvement in extraterritorial and extrajudicial killings within Pakistan.
During her weekly news briefing in Islamabad on Thursday, Foreign Office spokesperson Mumtaz Zahra Baloch stated that this issue extends beyond Pakistan.
She highlighted that India’s network of extraterritorial killings and abductions has now become a global concern, with other countries also voicing apprehension over India’s activities.
Baloch reiterated that Pakistan seeks to maintain cordial relations with all its neighbors, including Afghanistan.
She mentioned that Pakistan has a strong dialogue mechanism with Afghanistan and aims to continue discussions on all aspects of bilateral relations, particularly on security and border management issues.
The spokesperson also emphasized that Pakistan is fully capable of protecting its national security and sovereignty against any internal or external threats.
In response to a question, Baloch confirmed that Gwadar port, developed with China’s support, is for Pakistan’s development and stated that Pakistan has no intentions of providing military bases to any foreign government or entity.
