SADIQABAD – Police have successfully rescued four individuals who were abducted by robbers in the Katcha area bordering Kashmore, Dunya News reported on Thursday.
According to the police, the victims were kidnapped for ransom from Bongh area a few days ago. Following a targeted operation, law enforcement officers were able to free the hostages while the robbers were attempting to move them to another location.
The operation was carried out based on a tip-off, but the bandits managed to flee. A search operation has been launched to apprehend the escaped criminals.
BROTHER OF UZAR BALOCH ARRESTED
Zubair Baloch, the brother of Uzar Baloch, was arrested with a hand grenade and other weapons. Police reported that the accused was apprehended during a joint operation carried out by the police and Rangers.
Zubair, who was recently released from jail, had been running an extortion racket. A case has been registered against him.
TWO ROBBERS ARRESTED
In Bahadurabad, Karachi, police arrested two suspected robbers following an encounter. Police received information about the presence of two bandits in the area and raided the location.
Upon arrival, the robbers opened fire, which was met with retaliation. After a brief exchange of gunfire, the bandits surrendered to the police.
