PESHAWAR: Khyber Pakhtunkhwa Chief Minister Ali Amin Gandapur has confirmed that PTI’s formal communication with the powers-that-be began after October 4.
“The Army Chief requested a meeting with the federal government,” said the KP CM.
He emphasized that all stakeholders must be consulted regarding the delegation to Afghanistan.
Gandapur stated, “It’s positive that PTI’s founder has written to the Army Chief, and we are waiting for his response.”
He explained, “Our formal communication began on October 4. It was suggested to hold talks with the party’s founder.” He added that there were suggestions to relocate the founder to Nathia Gali, Governor House, Bani Gala, or the Chief Minister’s House.
“If you want to talk to me here, PTI’s founder insisted,” Gandapur revealed.
The Chief Minister said he would meet with both the PTI founder and the establishment once again to resolve the matters. “We need to discuss our mandate and will reclaim our rights from them,” he stated.
Gandapur also mentioned that the Army Chief assured him that the National Finance Commission (NFC) meeting would be convened. “Because of this assurance, I refrained from taking the matter to court,” he added.
