Government announces three-day holiday: Interior Minister reviews preparations for SCO Summit in Islamabad

Federal Minister for Interior Mohsin Naqvi convened a significant meeting to assess the preparations and security measures for the upcoming Shanghai Cooperation Organization (SCO) Summit in Islamabad next week.

During the meeting, Naqvi instructed the relevant authorities to adorn the city with beautiful flowers and decorative lights, while emphasizing the need for enhanced landscaping along the main highways.

He also urged the responsible agencies to expedite the renovation of the Jinnah Convention Centre.

The Minister remarked that hosting the SCO Summit in Pakistan highlights the country’s successful foreign policy.
