Hospital elevator collapse injures 8.

LAHORE:
Eight women were injured on Friday when an elevator malfunctioned and crashed at a private hospital in Iqbal Town.

The injured were promptly taken to nearby medical facilities for treatment.

Preliminary reports reveal that the women, who had come to visit a patient, were in the elevator when it suddenly malfunctioned and fell.

The injured individuals, identified as Yasmin, Sobia, Farah, Shumaila, Naila, Samira, Sadia, and Goshi, sustained injuries to various parts of their bodies.

Rescue teams transported the victims to Jinnah, Mayo, and other hospitals, where they are currently receiving care. Hospital authorities described the incident as a “natural accident,” citing an unforeseen mechanical failure. As of now, no legal action has been initiated by the victims or their families.
