Karachi Couple’s Crime Spree Ends: Robbery Duo Arrested with Guns in Hand
Mohsin and Uzma, a notorious couple wanted in multiple robbery cases, were apprehended by police at Gulshan-e-Maymar Mor. Senior Superintendent of Police (SSP) Farrukh Raza confirmed the arrest, revealing that two pistols were seized from the suspects.
It was also disclosed that Mohsin had a criminal history, having previously been arrested and served time in jail. The police have filed a First Information Report (FIR) and launched an investigation into their crimes.
This arrest comes on the heels of another major bust in September, when Karachi police dismantled a six-member female gang specializing in hypnotizing and robbing victims across Sindh.
The Malir Investigation and Operation Police led a joint effort to capture the inter-provincial gang, with its leader, Sahiba (aka Hina), now in custody. Valuable goods worth millions were recovered, and the gang, known for luring women into their homes with various excuses, has been linked to multiple robberies in Lahore, Khairpur, and Sukkur.
Karachi police are still hunting for the remaining members of the gang as investigations continue.
