KP Govt Announces Special Ramazan Relief Package for Needy Families
PESHAWAR – The Khyber Pakhtunkhwa government has introduced a special Ramazan relief package to assist deserving families during the holy month.
As per the provincial cabinet’s decision, each eligible family will receive a cash grant of Rs10,000. A total of 5,000 families from each of the 115 constituencies across the province will benefit from this initiative.
To ensure proper distribution, various departments have been tasked with identifying deserving recipients. The disbursement process is set to begin within the first 10 days of Ramazan, with beneficiaries receiving cheques worth Rs10,000.
The total allocation for this relief package stands at approximately Rs8 billion. To maintain transparency and efficiency, the distribution process will be closely monitored from the Chief Minister’s House in Peshawar.
