Law enforcement agencies (LEAs) thwart an attempted trailer hijacking and kidnapping on the Ghotki motorway.

In Ghotki, Sindh Rangers and police successfully prevented an attempt to hijack a cargo trailer and kidnap its crew on the M-V motorway.

A spokesperson for the Rangers confirmed that law enforcement agencies (LEAs) swiftly acted to stop the bandit attack and kidnapping attempt. The incident was reported near Rownti Nek More on the M-V motorway, located in the Katcha area, where a group of seven to eight armed individuals was engaged in criminal activity.

Upon noticing the Rangers’ patrolling vehicles, the criminals opened fire, but after a retaliatory response from the Rangers, the bandits abandoned the container and fled the scene.

The driver and staff of the trailer suffered minor injuries and were promptly taken to a hospital. The Rangers have called on local residents to help identify those harboring the criminals and any influential individuals offering shelter to the outlaws.
