The Federal Investigation Agency (FIA) Immigration unit has apprehended Amjad Ali, a notorious human trafficker, at Islamabad International Airport, confirmed the agency’s spokesperson.
Ali, who had been on the FIA’s most-wanted list for 17 years, was sought for human trafficking and visa fraud. His name also appeared on the FIA’s stop list.
The spokesperson revealed that Ali was involved in visa fraud schemes and had fled the country after executing fraudulent activities. A case was filed against him in 2007 by the Anti-Human Trafficking Circle in Rawalpindi.
