ISLAMABAD: The Ministry of Religious Affairs and Interfaith Harmony has authorized private Hajj operators and their sub-companies to initiate bookings for Hajj 2025.
According to spokesperson Muhammad Umar Butt, bookings under the Private Hajj Scheme will be open from January 10 to January 31, 2025. The ministry has also published detailed Hajj package options on its official website.
Hajj Packages and Compliance
Basic Hajj packages are priced between Rs.1.1 million and Rs.2.15 million. Premium packages exceeding Rs.3 million require approval from the ‘Hajj Policy Formulation Committee.’ Operators must submit complete details of these premium packages during the approval process.
Additionally, details of all transactions for packages over Rs.3 million will be shared with the Federal Board of Revenue (FBR) and relevant authorities.
Important Guidelines for Pilgrims
The spokesperson urged pilgrims to verify the registration of private Hajj companies through the ministry’s website or the ‘Pak Hajj’ mobile app before making payments.
Pilgrims are advised to:
- Ensure all payments are made through the company’s official bank account.
- Obtain a signed Service Provider Agreement (SPA) for their selected package.
- Carefully review the facilities included in their package to ensure transparency and avoid inconvenience.
The ministry emphasized that private operators must adhere to the Service Provider Agreement (SPA) guidelines when conducting bookings.
