KARACHI – Residents near the bungalow of Armaghan, the prime suspect in Mustafa Amir’s murder case, have urged authorities to evict him and his family due to security concerns.
In a letter to DHA officials, the residents expressed fear for their safety, citing multiple firing incidents that have caused panic in the area. They also demanded action against Armaghan’s father for allegedly violating DHA regulations.
According to the residents, the accused maintains over 100 private security guards and illegally keeps lions at his residence. They further alleged that Armaghan, with the support of his guards, has been involved in harassing women and domestic workers.
Police Foil Robbery Attempt in Gulshan-e-Jadeed
Meanwhile, police thwarted a robbery attempt in Gulshan-e-Jadeed, Phase I. Two armed robbers on a motorcycle intercepted a passerby at gunpoint when a patrol unit arrived.
Upon seeing the officers, the robbers opened fire, prompting retaliatory action from the police. The suspects managed to escape, abandoning their motorcycle and a pistol at the scene. Authorities have seized the items and launched an investigation.
