PPP and PTI collaborate to disrupt National Assembly quorum

ISLAMABAD: In an unexpected move, the Pakistan People’s Party (PPP) and Pakistan Tehreek-e-Insaf (PTI) reportedly coordinated efforts to disrupt the National Assembly quorum during the ongoing session, according to sources.

Sources revealed that the disruption of quorum in yesterday’s session was a planned collaboration between PPP and PTI. Under the guidance of PPP, PTI ended its protest and highlighted the quorum issue, which led to a joint decision to walk out of the House.

Further details indicate that PPP had decided to challenge the quorum before the session began and consulted PTI on the strategy. Agha Rafiullah, representing PPP, had discussions with PTI on this plan.

Before the session, Agha Rafiullah briefed PPP’s Members of National Assembly (MNAs) on the decision. PPP leadership instructed their MNAs to leave the House if necessary, with disciplinary action threatened against those who refused. To ensure smooth coordination, PPP held a briefing in the lobby regarding the quorum issue.

PPP leadership has also reportedly praised Agha Rafiullah for successfully executing the plan.
