The leadership of Pakistan Tehreek-e-Insaf (PTI) has firmly decided to go ahead with today’s protest, emphasizing that it will continue until the party’s objectives are met, with no plans to delay or conclude the demonstration.
Earlier today, PTI leaders convened at the Khyber Pakhtunkhwa Chief Minister’s House to finalize the protest strategy. Key figures from the party, including parliamentarians from Punjab and Khyber Pakhtunkhwa, thoroughly discussed the current political climate.
According to sources, a detailed plan was devised for today’s march, taking into account the evolving situation, and the federal government was informed via Barrister Gohar that the protest would proceed as scheduled.
The leadership agreed that negotiations would remain an option under the guidance of PTI’s founder, and that the protest would only end upon the release of the leader.
Party workers were instructed to ensure they reach D-Chowk in Islamabad, with the caution that they should travel separately to avoid arrest.
Meanwhile, Chief Minister Ali Amin Gandapur announced he would be in Swabi by 3pm, with other convoys instructed to assemble at the same time. Participants were also advised to carry wireless communication devices and other necessary supplies.
