Pakistan Tehreek-e-Insaf (PTI) has officially submitted its demands ahead of the upcoming negotiations with the government.
Sources reveal that PTI’s primary demand is the release of its workers who were arrested during various incidents. Additionally, the party is calling for an investigation into the events of May 9 and November 26, urging the formation of a judicial commission to look into these occurrences.
The written copy of PTI’s demands will be presented to the government during the negotiations. The talks between the government and PTI are set to take place in Islamabad on January 2.
PTI Chairman Barrister Gohar expressed confidence in the political understanding of both the government and opposition negotiation teams. He assured that all members of the opposition committee would attend the meeting on January 2, emphasizing the importance of approaching the talks with sincerity and an open heart.
Barrister Gohar highlighted that meaningful efforts in negotiations lead to positive results, and he remains hopeful that both sides will quickly find a solution. He concluded by stating that the success of these talks will be a success for Pakistan.
