Seven Khwarij Eliminated in Two KP IBOs: ISPR

RAWALPINDI: Security forces successfully eliminated seven Khwarij during two intelligence-based operations (IBOs) in Khyber Pakhtunkhwa’s Dera Ismail Khan district, the Inter-Services Public Relations (ISPR) reported on Sunday.

According to the ISPR, the first operation was conducted in the Daraban area following intelligence reports about the presence of Khwarij. During the operation, security forces effectively targeted their location, resulting in the killing of four militants.

In a separate encounter in the Maddi area, security personnel neutralized three more Khwarij.

Weapons and ammunition were recovered from the militants, who were reportedly involved in multiple terrorist activities in the region. Security forces are continuing sanitization operations to eliminate any remaining threats, reaffirming their commitment to eradicating terrorism from Pakistan.

Earlier, on February 21, ISPR reported that security forces had eliminated six Khwarij during an intelligence-based operation in Khyber Pakhtunkhwa’s Karak district. The operation was conducted based on intelligence reports, and security forces effectively engaged the militants, successfully neutralizing them.
