The Khyber Pakhtunkhwa Government has declared a strict enforcement of the ban on the activities of the banned Pashtun Protection Movement (PTM).
Chief Minister Ali Amin Gandapur held a Jirga to address the recent incident in Khyber District and invited various parties to participate.
Provincial Information Adviser Barrister Saif released an official video statement emphasizing that the Federal Government has issued a notification designating PTM as a banned organization. Consequently, PTM is prohibited from conducting any rallies, processions, gatherings, or other activities.
The Information Adviser noted that PTM is engaged in actions contrary to the Constitution of Pakistan and the state. He stated that the organization would not be permitted to hold its planned meetings from October 11 to 13.
He assured that the Chief Minister of Khyber Pakhtunkhwa is taking the matter very seriously. He emphasized that it is the Provincial Government’s duty to ensure the safety of all residents of Khyber Pakhtunkhwa, regardless of their political affiliations.
