The Punjab government has announced winter holidays for both public and private schools, set to begin from December 20 and continue until January 10, 2025, for students and staff.
The much-anticipated break offers students a chance to engage in various activities and make the most of the winter season. “Every student has their own plans to enjoy the holidays,” shared a school representative.
Many students plan to visit Pakistan’s northern areas to experience the winter chill, while others look forward to spending quality time at their grandparents’ homes.
For those staying in the city, local outings and picnics are on the agenda, as students eagerly plan to enjoy their time off.
Some students are particularly excited about witnessing snowfall and enjoying festive gatherings with family, indulging in barbecues, continental dishes, pizzas, parathas, and shawarmas. Others prefer to stay home, splitting their time between video games and managing their studies.
