MELBOURNE (Web Desk) – Australian all-rounder Glenn Maxwell has commended Pakistan’s elite players and shared his enthusiasm for the challenges that lie ahead in the upcoming series.
During a media session at Australia’s Summer Cricket Festival in Melbourne, Maxwell highlighted the unpredictability of the Pakistan cricket team, which makes them a formidable opponent.
Reflecting on previous matchups, he remarked that Pakistan has frequently proven to be a significant challenge and can be exceptionally dangerous at various points in the game.
Maxwell specifically pointed out the importance of monitoring Babar Azam, calling him a superstar player, and referred to Shaheen Afridi as a magical fast bowler, particularly with the new ball.
He stated, “Pakistan boasts world-class players, and we are eager to embrace the challenge in the upcoming series. We are preparing diligently, and to maintain our edge, we need to perform at our best. We’re not underestimating this series.”
It’s important to note that Pakistan will tour Australia next month for a white-ball series, featuring three ODIs and three T20 matches.
