Pakistan players depart for South Africa following a ‘bittersweet’ tour of Zimbabwe.

The Pakistan national cricket team has departed for South Africa following their “bittersweet” tour of Zimbabwe.

Key players such as Salman Ali Agha, Abbas Afridi, Jahandad Khan, Sufiyan Muqeem, Tayyab Tahir, and Omair Bin Yousuf have left for Durban.

Captain Mohammad Rizwan, along with Babar Azam and Shaheen Shah Afridi, will join the squad in Durban.

Meanwhile, players Haseebullah, Arafat Minhas, Aamer Jamal, Sahibzada Farhan, and Qasim Akram have headed back to Pakistan via Dubai.

Pakistan is set to play three T20Is, three ODIs, and two Tests against South Africa.

It is worth mentioning that Pakistan clinched both the ODI and T20I series against Zimbabwe with a 2-1 victory in each.
