KARACHI: The Pakistan Cricket Board (PCB) has revealed the playing XI for their must-win encounter against South Africa in the tri-nation series, making two changes from their previous match against New Zealand.
Fast bowler Mohammad Hasnain replaces the injured Haris Rauf, while Saud Shakeel comes in for middle-order batter Kamran Ghulam.
Pakistan is set to face South Africa in Karachi on February 12 in a virtual semi-final, as New Zealand has already secured a spot in the final with two consecutive wins.
Notably, New Zealand defeated Pakistan in the opening match of the series, with Glenn Phillips’ unbeaten century and fifties from Kane Williamson and Daryl Mitchell leading them to victory.
The winner of the Pakistan-South Africa match will meet New Zealand in the final on February 14 at Karachi’s National Stadium.
