Meanwhile, members of the Pakistan ODI squad arrived in Melbourne yesterday for their upcoming series against Australia, with the remaining players set to depart today, as stated by the Pakistan Cricket Board (PCB).
PCB Chairman Mohsin Naqvi met with the newly appointed white-ball captain Muhammad Rizwan and vice-captain Salman Ali Agha to extend his best wishes and highlight the honor of leading the national team.
The PCB has also announced the squads for the upcoming tours to Australia and Zimbabwe, with key players returning and emerging domestic talent making the roster.
Pakistan’s white-ball teams will play three ODIs and three T20Is on their tours in November and December.
The team will face Australia from November 4 to 18 before heading to Zimbabwe for matches from November 24 to December 5.
These tours are considered crucial preparation for the ICC Champions Trophy, as selectors aim to balance experienced players with new talent in their strategy.
