AL-AMERAT: Mohammad Haris, captain of the Pakistan Shaheens, won the toss and chose to bat first against the UAE in a crucial must-win match of the ACC Emerging Team T20 Asia Cup on Wednesday.
“It’s challenging to play in a match where victory is necessary for qualification. We carry momentum from our last game, but we need to perform well here. Anything above 160 is a solid score on this pitch,” Haris stated after winning the toss.
Pakistan made three changes to their playing XI, with Abbas Afridi, Haider Ali, and Ahmed Daniyal replacing Zaman Khan, Rohail Nazir, and Imran Jr, respectively.
