Alkhidmat Foundation organizes event for ‘Bano Qabil’ program graduates

Alkhidmat Foundation Expands ‘Bano Qabil’ Program to Lahore, Awards Free Laptops to Graduates

Following the success of its ‘Bano Qabil’ program in Karachi, Alkhidmat Foundation Pakistan has launched the initiative in Lahore, celebrating the achievements of students who have completed advanced IT and technical courses.

A grand ceremony was held at Lahore’s Expo Center to honor thousands of graduates. Hafiz Naeemur Rehman, emir of Jamaat-e-Islami Pakistan, graced the event as the chief guest. Certificates were distributed among the graduates, while top-performing students received free laptops to support their professional endeavors.

During his address, Hafiz Naeem highlighted Pakistan’s youth potential, noting that over 65% of the population is under 30. He stressed the importance of the IT sector in generating employment opportunities for the country’s unemployed youth.

“Pakistan is rich in natural resources, and the Constitution guarantees free and quality education for all children,” he said. “However, around 25 million children remain out of school—a critical issue the government must address. Alkhidmat’s ‘Bano Qabil’ program, launched in Karachi in 2022, is now expanding nationwide, focusing on underprivileged areas in Balochistan, Khyber Pakhtunkhwa, Sindh, and Punjab. These campuses will provide cutting-edge IT and technical training to help youth earn a livelihood and create job opportunities for others.”

Since its inception, the program has enabled over 50,000 students to embark on professional careers. The foundation aims to train one million students over the next two years in fields such as IT, freelancing, digital marketing, web development, and e-commerce.
