Under the revised pricing structure, a single-phase AMI meter with a 20-meter cable will cost Rs35,000, while a single-phase meter with a 40-meter cable is priced at Rs38,000.
For three-phase connections, the cost of an AMI meter with a 20-meter cable is set at Rs65,000, whereas a three-phase meter with a 40-meter cable will be available for Rs110,000.
IESCO has already installed over 550,000 AMI meters free of charge, enabling consumers to benefit from advanced technology. However, going forward, new connections will require consumers to purchase AMI meters.
The installation of AMI meters will continue in Rawalpindi city, Cantt, and Taxila divisions, as confirmed by IESCO.
