Meta’s messaging platform WhatsApp has introduced a new message draft feature for iOS users, which will be available in the coming weeks.
This feature is designed to help users track partially composed messages, making it easier to pick up and finish them later, as reported by WABetaInfo.
With the new update, users no longer have to search through conversations for unsent messages, as they can now flag incomplete messages directly in the chat list.
According to the App Store’s official change log, incomplete messages will now be labeled with a “Draft” tag in the chat list. This allows users to see the text of any unfinished messages without opening the conversation.
Additionally, the “Draft” label serves as a reminder for users who get interrupted while typing, reducing the chance of leaving messages unsent.
This feature is a significant improvement over the previous system, where users had to manually remember or check each chat for unfinished messages. The “Draft” label now makes it easy to identify which conversations contain incomplete messages, helping users stay organized and ensuring important messages are not forgotten.
