FAISALABAD – Punjab Chief Minister Maryam Nawaz launched the Laptop Scheme at a ceremony in Faisalabad.
Speaking at the event, she expressed her resolve to attend the ceremony despite the dense fog, underscoring her commitment to supporting students.
She highlighted that the scholarships under the program were awarded purely on merit, ensuring that deserving students benefit.
Maryam announced the allocation of 30,000 scholarships for this year, with plans to increase the number to 50,000 next year, and promised to allocate additional funds if necessary.
She emphasized the crucial role of education in achieving dreams and assured her continued support to help students overcome financial constraints. Maryam also shared her vision for progress, urging students to prioritize development over divisive politics.
She pledged to expand scholarships for second- and third-year students as well.
