In recent months, various fan theories surrounding the second trailer for the highly anticipated GTA 6 have surfaced, including the “moon theory” and speculations about a PlayStation event. However, most of these theories have been debunked, with Rockstar Games and its parent company, Take-Two Interactive, staying silent about the game.
Recently, a Rockstar Games employee responded to a fan’s question about the community’s theories regarding GTA 6. Ashley Winstead, a Production Coordinator at Rockstar Games, celebrated her two-year work anniversary and was congratulated by many, including a fan who asked her about the staff’s reaction to the fan theories.
Winstead responded on X, saying, “I try my best to stay off GTA Reddit and Twitter, but every once in a while, I get sent something from a friend and get a good laugh out of a post.”
The GTA 6 fanbase is known for being highly active, with the GTA 6 subreddit having around 1.1 million members, outpacing some of the most popular live-service games.
Earlier this year, Take-Two Interactive confirmed that GTA 6 will release in Fall 2025. Rockstar Games later announced the game would be available for PlayStation 5 and Xbox Series X/S, though a PC release date has yet to be revealed. The first and only trailer for the game was released on December 4, 2023.
