PTCL restores internet services after resolving submarine cable fault.

ISLAMABAD – Pakistan Telecommunication Company Limited (PTCL) announced on Thursday that internet services have been fully restored following a disruption caused by a fault in the Asia-Africa-Europe-1 (AAE-1) submarine cable. The issue had slowed internet speeds and affected connectivity across the country.

PTCL swiftly addressed the problem, ensuring uninterrupted internet services for users. The AAE-1 submarine cable spans an impressive 25,000 kilometers, linking Pakistan to multiple regions across Asia, Africa, and Europe via fiber-optic technology.

The outage had resulted in slower internet speeds, impacting users nationwide. However, PTCL resolved the issue by acquiring additional bandwidth, minimizing inconvenience and maintaining a manageable user experience.

“PTCL has resolved the internet slowdown caused by the AAE-1 submarine cable fault in record time. Services are now fully operational, ensuring smooth browsing,” a PTCL spokesperson stated.

According to the company, platforms like WhatsApp, Facebook, and Instagram are now functioning seamlessly, providing users with an uninterrupted online experience.
