5 Former Bears Among Potential Inductees for the 2025 Hall of Fame Class

Jared Allen, DE (2014-2015)

Jared Allen played just two seasons with the Bears, a period marked by their shift to a 3-4 defense that didn’t quite fit his style. This was during the Trestman era, a phase many Bears fans prefer to forget.

Allen is best remembered for his time with the Minnesota Vikings, but his brief stint with the Bears earns him a spot on this list. He ranks 12th all-time in sacks with 136, although only 7.5 of those came while he was with the Bears. Allen’s impressive career includes being a four-time First-Team All-Pro, a five-time Pro Bowler, and twice leading the NFL in sacks.

While Allen may not enter the Hall of Fame as a Bear, he is one of the most likely candidates from this list to be inducted. Every player ahead of him on the all-time sack list is in the Hall of Fame, except for Terrell Suggs (also a nominee), and many players with fewer sacks than Allen have been inducted.
