On Friday, Mr. Faisal Zahid Malik, Chairman and Editor-in-Chief of Pakistan Observer, visited the Azerbaijan Embassy to offer condolences following the tragic crash of an Azerbaijani airliner near Aktau, Kazakhstan, on December 25. The Embraer 190 crash resulted in 38 deaths and 29 survivors.
During his meeting with Ambassador Khazar Farhadov, Mr. Malik expressed his prayers for the souls of the departed, strength for the grieving families, and a swift recovery for the injured. He also signed the condolence book, emphasizing Pakistan’s unwavering support for Azerbaijan during this difficult period.
Mr. Malik described Azerbaijan as a close and trusted ally, sharing in the collective sorrow of the Pakistani people. Ambassador Farhadov thanked Mr. Malik for his compassionate gesture, acknowledging the solidarity and support extended by Pakistan.
