Four Pakistanis rescued from human traffickers in Iran

With the cooperation of the Iranian government, the Embassy of Pakistan successfully rescued four Pakistani citizens from human traffickers on Wednesday. The operation was conducted amid rising cases of human smuggling, leading to the arrest of the traffickers.

The victims had initially entered Iran legally but were later kidnapped by a trafficking network. They were subjected to torture, and their captors demanded a hefty ransom from their families.

Timely intervention by the Embassy of Pakistan and Iranian authorities ensured their safe rescue.

Pakistan’s Ambassador to Iran, Muhammad Mudassir Tipu, urged Pakistanis traveling to Iran to use legal channels and stay in contact with the embassy to avoid falling victim to human traffickers.

The rescued individuals were identified as Ghulam Mustafa Tabasum, Muhammad Suhail, Muhammad Arsalan, and Muhammad Khurram. They expressed gratitude to both the Embassy of Pakistan and the Iranian government for their swift action.
